Amaia San Sebastián Larzabal (San Sebastián, España, 09/01/1976). Ingeniera mecánica de formación, dejó el trabajo en el metal para dedicarse a enseñar física y escribir relatos, y más tarde, a pensar y hacer cine. Tiene dos hijos y vive y aprende en Donosti. Ha participado en numerosos proyectos, también como guionista y ayudante de dirección. «Normas de higiene» es su décimo cortometraje como directora, después de «B de Bendetta» (2021), «Rewind» (2021), «Naqam Diamond» (2019), «El tigre» (2019), «Stalingrado» (2019), «Tximeletaren Hegaldia» (2018), «Principio de inercia» (2018), «LB 30 Urte» (2018) y «Andante Piu Forte» (2017).
