Miguel Dorado (Madrid, España, 05/07/1999) creció en Barcelona, donde se graduó en la ESCAC. Con especial interés por la construcción de mundos y la ciencia ficción, aborda estos ámbitos desde una escala intimista y humana que cuestiona la realidad presente. Con su primer cortometraje, «1,5 y más», ha buscado plasmar las inquietudes morales de una juventud enfrentada a un mundo cada día más irreconocible.
Miguel Dorado (Madrid, Spain, 07/05/1999) was raised in Barcelona, where he graduated from ESCAC. With a particular interest in world-building and science fiction, his work approaches these genres from an intimate, human scale that questions the present reality. His first short film, “Beyond 1.5” (original title “1,5 y más”), explores the moral concerns of a younger generation facing an increasingly unrecognizable world.
