La recopilación de mensajes de contestador automático y videos caseros perfilan el retrato de una familia que vive la muerte de uno de sus miembros.
A recollection of voicemails and homemade videos draw the portrait of a family when one of the members passes away.
Sinopsis / Synopsis
El miembro más joven de la familia se va a vivir fuera. Los viajes entre su nuevo hogar y su ciudad natal, la recopilación de mensajes de contestador automático y vídeos caseros dibujan el retrato de una familia que se enfrenta a la muerte de uno de sus miembros.
The youngest member of the family moves away. On their way from their new home back to their hometown, a recollection of voicemails and homemade videos draw the portrait of a family that faces the death of one of its members.
Directora
María Fontán (Donostia-San Sebastián, España, 18/01/1992) es una cineasta y escritora especializada en queer horror y mitología. Graduada en Dirección Cinematográfica y Nuevos Medios y Guion. Su trabajo ha sido proyectado alrededor del mundo. Su cortometraje «Zerua hautsi zen gaua» (2020) fue la obra inaugural de la 31ª Semana Fantástica y de Terror de San Sebastián. Ha dirigido, además, los cortos «Aún recuerdo su pañuelo de rosas» (2019) y «Burbuila» (2018). «Retrato de familia» es su cuarto cortometraje como directora.
María Fontán (Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain, 01/18/1992) is a filmmaker and writer specialized in queer horror and mythology. She has a MA both in Filmmaking and New Media and Fiction Scriptwriting. Her work has been screened all around the world, including opening the 31st Horror and Fantasy Film Festival with her short film “The night the sky broke down” (2020). She has also directed “Aún recuerdo su pañuelo de rosas” (2019) and “Burbuila” (2018). “A Family Portrait” is her fourth short film as a director.
