Sara Ayala (Madrid, España, 23/02/2004) es una cineasta y artista visual novel que estudia animación en UDIT, Madrid. Su trabajo pretende resaltar la voz poética de lo anecdótico y cotidiano. «Marinero en Tierra» es su primer cortometraje como directora, una obra profundamente personal inspirada en los veranos que vivió de niña en Aguadulce (Almería) y en las anécdotas que le contaba su abuelo.

Her work seeks to reveal the poetic voice within the everyday and the ordinary. “Sailor Ashore” is her first short film as a director, a deeply personal work inspired by the summers she spent as a child in Aguadulce (Almería) and the stories told by her grandfather.
