Kiko Prada (Oviedo, España, 22/04/1984). Estudia Cinematografía y Artes Visuales en la escuela de Cine de Ponferrada – Universidad de León, entre los años 2004 y 2007, especializándose en la rama de Dirección y Guion cinematográfico. Después se traslada a Madrid, donde junto a su hermano Javi crean en 2010 la productora The Other Side Films. De entre sus trabajos en conjunto con Javi Prada destacan la serie «Dorien» para RTVE y las películas documentales «Vicente Aranda: 50 años de Cine» y «Queridos Monstruos». Con sus cortometrajes han recibido más de 100 premios y más de 800 selecciones a nivel internacional. En 2015, su cortometraje «Djävulen» es uno de los diez cortos elegidos por el ICAA para representar a España en el catálogo «Shorts from Spain», con el que viaja por los festivales más importantes del mundo. En 2021 dirige, escribe y produce documental «El legado del Mal», sobre el rodaje de la primera temporada «30 monedas» de Álex de la Iglesia, para HBO. Además, en solitario ha dirigido «El Greco», «Trekkies», «El rigor» y «(N)os miran», premio a desarrollo de proyecto en el Festival de Málaga. El 2023 dirige el cortometraje «Las zapatillas verdes», que se alza con el Premio Llámalo Cáncer en el NotodoFilmFest y el Premio RNE. En 2024 dirige el documental «Bienvenidos al infierno» para HBO (basado en la segunda temporada de «30 monedas»), el documental «Zulueta, un paseo por Madrid» (que logra el Premio Lorca al Mejor Cortometraje Documental) y la película «Historias de Halloween» (estrenada en la Sección Panorama del Festival de Sitges 2024, seleccionada en festivales de todo el mundo y ganadora del Premio del Público en el Festival Isla Calavera y del Premio a la Mejor Película en Madeira Fantastic Film Festival). En 2025 dirige para la plataforma Divergente el mediometraje «Only Girls».

In 2025, he directed the mid-length film “Only Girls” for the VOD platform Divergente.
