Alejandra Martínez de Miguel

Alejandra Martínez de Miguel (Madrid, España, 25/11/1994) es actriz, poeta y psicóloga. Licenciada en Arte Dramático por la Escuela de Interpretación Cristina Rota. Graduada en Psicología por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y máster en Sexología: Educación sexual y Asesoramiento Sexológico por la Universidad Camilo José Cela. En poesía, tiene tres títulos publicados, «Báilatelo sola» (Plan B, 2019); «Al cuerpo de una mujer» (Plan B, 2023), con el que montó el espectáculo teatral del mismo nombre que estrenó en 2024 en el Teatro del Barrio en Madrid; y «Revelaciones», ganador del I Premio de Poesía Joven Jaime Gil de Biedma (Visor, 2023). En actuación, ha participado en múltiples cortometrajes. Actúa, divulga, escribe y lleva sus poemarios a escena. Además, imparte talleres de escritura, trabaja como creativa en publicidad y es presidenta de la asociación cultural Poetry Slam Madrid. «Las Hijas del Tomate» es su primer cortometraje como directora.

Alejandra Martínez de Miguel (Madrid, Spain, 11/25/1994) is an actress, poet, and psychologist. She holds a degree in Dramatic Arts from the Cristina Rota School of Acting, a degree in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid, and a Master’s degree in Sexology, specializing in Sexual Education and Sexological Counseling, from Camilo José Cela University. As a poet, she has published three books: “Báilatelo sola” (Plan B, 2019); “Al cuerpo de una mujer” (Plan B, 2023), which she adapted into a stage production of the same name, premiered in 2024 at Teatro del Barrio in Madrid; and “Revelaciones” (Visor, 2023), which was the winner of the first Jaime Gil de Biedma Young Poetry Prize. As an actress, she has appeared in several short films. She acts, shares her work through outreach and public speaking, writes, and brings her poetry collections to the stage. She also teaches writing workshops, works as a creative in advertising, and is president of the cultural association Poetry Slam Madrid. “The Daughters of Tomato” is her first short film as a director.
