Bo Pärletun (Lund, Suecia, 21/05/1982). Su primera película fue en stop-motion y la realizó con sus juguetes y nueve años de edad. Tras el instituto, se mudó a Estocolmo para estudiar en Kulturama, una escuela de producción cinematográfica. Allí, en 2006, Bo realizó un documental autobiográfico llamado «Bo Ko» que resultó ser un éxito en la televisión sueca. En 2009 se mudó a Noruega para estudiar cine en la Norwegian Film School. Desde 2012 vive en Estocolmo y trabaja como director de fotografía y director. En 2017 dirigió el cortometraje «The bus from Norway», con gran éxito en festivales suecos y seleccionado en el Warsaw Film Festival 2017, y «Aging» (2020), seleccionado en el Göteborg Film Festival. «Men of Silence» es su tercer cortometraje como director.

After high school he moved to Stockholm to study at Kulturama, a post-secondary education in film production. At Kulturama in 2006, Bo made an autobiographical documentary called “Bo Ko” which was a success on Swedish television. In 2009 he moved to Norway to study Cinematography at the Norwegian Film School. Since 2012, Bo lives in Stockholm where he works as a DoP and director. In 2017 he directed the short film “The bus from Norway” which was a big success in Swedish film festivals and was part of the official selection at Warsaw Film Festival 2017. The second directed short film “Aging” was officially selected for Göteborg Film Festival in 2020. “Men of Silence” is his third short film as a director.
