Patricia M. Félix

Patricia M. Félix (Barcelona, España, 02/06/1974) es cineasta y videoartista barcelonesa. Se formó en Ciencias de la Comunicación Audiovisual y amplió sus estudios en guion, dirección y montaje en la International School of Film and Television de Cuba y en la New York Film Academy. Ha dirigido documentales, videoclips, anuncios y piezas artísticas presentadas en festivales como el La Jolla Fashion Film Festival, Loop Festival, Seoul International Extreme-Short Image, Ciclope Festival y Directed by Women. Algunas de sus obras de videoarte han sido exhibidas por el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona y subastadas en la Maison Drouot de París. Su proyecto documental «Jo Sóc» ganó el premio al Mejor Proyecto Documental Nacional en ZINEBI Networking 2023 y se encuentra en fase de desarrollo en Docs Barcelona y en los Pitches IDFA. «Estel.la i Sofia» es su primer cortometraje como directora.

Patricia M. Félix (Barcelona, Spain, 06/02/1974) is a filmmaker and video artist from Barcelona. She studied Audiovisual Communication Sciences and furthered her training in screenwriting, directing, and editing at the International School of Film and Television in Cuba and the New York Film Academy. She has directed documentaries, music videos, commercials, and artistic pieces showcased at festivals such as the La Jolla Fashion Film Festival, Loop Festival, Seoul International Extreme-Short Image, Ciclope Festival, and Directed by Women Film Festival. Some of her video art works have been exhibited by the Barcelona City Council and auctioned at the prestigious Maison Drouot in Paris. Her documentary project “Jo Sóc” won the award for Best National Documentary Project at ZINEBI Networking 2023 and is currently in development at Docs Barcelona and IDFA Pitches. “Estel.la i Sofia” is her first short film as a director.
