Ainhoa Menéndez

Ainhoa Menéndez (Madrid, España, 28/10/1983) estudió guion en la ECAM (Madrid) y dirección cinematográfica en la EICTV (Cuba). Es Berlinale Talent Alumni, y ganó el premio Woman in action, otorgado por Movistar + y CIMA. Su trilogía de cortometrajes «Dark Tales» fue seleccionada en más de 500 festivales y ganó más de 100 premios. Ganó una beca de desarrollo para su guion de largometraje «Un golpe de suerte» (2009) y ha sido contratada como guionista en distintos proyectos tanto de cine como de televisión. Ahora mismo, Ainhoa tiene tres proyectos de largometraje en distintas fases de desarrollo. Todos ellos han participado en varios talleres de desarrollo y mercados internacionales como el festival de cine de Guanajuato, Guadalajara, BAM, Ventana Sur, EAVE Puentes, MFI, Madrid Crea Lab, CIMA Mentoring… Además, su proyecto de largometraje «En carne viva» fue seleccionado en el prestigioso programa de desarrollo Incubadora The Screen- ECAM. A finales de 2021, Ainhoa dirigirá su primer largometraje, una coproducción hispanoargentina titulada «Luces». «Punto de giro» es su sexto cortometraje como directora, después de «Lo supero» (2016), «Stela» (2014), «Bad Night» (2012), «Unfarewell» (2011) y «Fábrica de muñecas» (2010).

Ainhoa Menéndez (Madrid, Spain, 10/28/1983) studied scriptwriting at ECAM (Madrid Cinema School) and filmmaking at EICTV (Cuba). She won a script development grant for her feature length project “A stroke of luck” (2009) and she was hired in several projects as screenwriter. Ainhoa currently has three feature films in different stages of development, all of them have participated in several development workshops and international markets such as Guanajuato Film Festival, Guadalajara Film Festival, BAM, Ventana Sur, EAVE Puentes, MFI, Madrid Crea Lab, CIMA Mentoring… In addition, her feature film project “En carne viva” was selected in the prestigious Incubadora The Screen-ECAM development program. And at the end of 2021, Ainhoa will direct her first feature film, a Spanish-Argentine co- production entitled “Luces”. “Plot Point” is her sixth short film as a director, after “Lo supero” (2016), “Stela” (2014), “Bad Night” (2012), “Unfarewell” (2011) and “Fábrica de muñecas” (2010).
