Carlos Cazurro (Valladolid, España, 18/06/1975). Licenciado en periodismo y fotógrafo profesional. Durante años se dedica a documentar fotográficamente fiestas y tradiciones por todo el territorio español, lo que le vale diversos reconocimientos internacionales, entre los que destacan tres premios National Geographic de Fotografía (2008 y 2011). Su exploración en técnicas de narrativa fotográfica le ha llevado a impartir charlas y talleres en España y Sudamérica y, finalmente, dar el salto al audiovisual de la mano de su primer cortometraje documental, «El cielo es nuestro techo» (2018), al que siguió «Isósceles, el último escalerero» (2019). «Carraco» es su primer largometraje como director.
