Mads Koudal (Aarhus, Dinamarca, 22/01/1977) trabaja como director, actor y payaso de hospital. Estudió interpretación en The Arts Educational School of Acting (Londres) y, años después, estudió Cine en la Copenhagen Technical School. Ha trabajado como guionista, editor y director de espectáculos de comedia para televisión como «TV2 Zulu» y «Comedy Central». En 2016 estuvo nominado a mejor director de videoclip en el CPH PIX. Como actor, Mads ha actuado en series televisivas como «Gangs Of London», «Six Reasons Why» o «The Reverend». En 2019 debutó como director con el cortometraje «Between a Rock and a Hard Place», seleccionado para los Robert como mejor cortometraje y nominado a mejor cortometraje en el Odense Film Festival. Fue seleccionado y premiado en múltiples festivales alrededor de todo el mundo, como Palm Springs International ShortFest y Krakow Film Festival. «Tonser» (2022) fue su segundo cortometraje, candidato a los premios Óscar tras ganar el festival Cinelebu y seleccionado en competiciones de todo el mundo. «Affald» es su tercer corto como director.

In 2016 he was nominated for Best Music Video Director at CPH PIX. As an actor, Mads has played a wide assortment of roles in TV series like “Gangs Of London”, “Six Reasons Why” or “The Reverend”. In 2019 he got his directorial short film debut with “Between a Rock and a Hard Place”, shortlisted for a Robert (Best Short Film) and also nominated as Best Short Film at Odense Film Festival. Since its debut it has been selected and awarded in dozens of festivals, including Palm Springs International ShortFest and Krakow Film Festival. “Bulldozer” (2022, original title “Tonser”) was his second short film as a director, eligible for the Oscars after winning Cinelebu festival and being selected in competitions worldwide. “Trash” (original title “Affald”) is his third short film as a director.
